ELA Standards
I feel that with my current understanding of English Language Arts, I would definitely be comfortable teaching grades 6-12 literature comprehension. It's already one of my favorite passions! However, even though I don't particularly expect to teach young children, I would like to be more aware and receive more knowledge on teaching reading comprehension to grades K-5. Love for literature begins early after all!
CPALMS
I think that the CPALMS Tool-kits are quite interesting! There's nothing quite like having a hub for all these useful resources that not just Florida educators, but worldwide educators can use as well. Personally, I would use the "Exploring Comma Uses" module for grades 9-12. I think that many people, not just students, struggle with comma placement and purpose. I am definitely guilty of misusing or splicing commas, so I find resources like this super helpful!
Newsletter Reflection
Firstly, I thought that the Newsletter was incredibly fun. It was a real test of my Word skills, and I already considered myself quite well-versed in Word! Thankfully I got through it. One of the new skills that I learned was how to create sectioned columns. Another was how to create borders around specific sections, with nice designs, too! By far the most challenging aspect was properly formatting the columns, and I'm sure that could use more improvement the next time I create a newsletter. I feel that doing something like this for my student's family members would help them transition into the school year much easier.

I am glad that you enjoyed the Newsletter design. A lot of projects and assignments in this class is designed to be opportunities for you to test out/ showcase your style. When you start you career and there is no ed tech class, you will need to solve problems on your own. I think it is very important to have you guys experience this earlier.
